Lawrence man charged with child rape in Manchester: court summary

MANCHESTER, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury recently indicted the following individuals.

Jacob Aliberti, 19, of Brook Street in Derry, charged with felony second-degree assault, domestic violence and strangulation. He was accused of strangling his ex-partner on April 9 in Manchester.


Akim Alleyne, 33, of Dubuque Street in Manchester, charged with two felony counts of burglary. He was accused of burglarizing a home on Maple Street in Manchester on Oct. 8, 2023, with intent to commit harassment and simple assault.

Nathan Barka, 43, of Old Nashua Road in Londonderry, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, tampering with physical evidence and two counts of intentional concealment, all felonies. He was charged with possession of drugs and putting them in his mouth to conceal them and impair an investigation, and shoplifting items from Home Depot in Manchester on Aug. 23, 2023.

Eric St. Pierre, 40, of Belmont Street in Manchester, charged with two felony counts of theft by extortion. He exercised control over a Manchester property owned by another person and forced that person to take out a loan or “bad things will happen” or similar words, on July 11, 2023, according to the indictments.

Chad Stricker, 30, of Arlington Street in Manchester, charged with two felony counts of sexual assault and six felony counts of sexual battery, all felonies. He was accused of sexually assaulting two minors between June 1, 2023, and January 7, 2023, in Manchester.

Joseph Taylor, 34, of Merrimack Street in Manchester, for unlawful sale of a controlled drug, crack cocaine, on Jan. 18, possession of methamphetamine, on Jan. 13, and receiving stolen property, a Glock 19 pistol, on Feb. 5 in Manchester.

Idris Terrell, 30, of South Beech Street in Manchester, charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of unauthorized larceny, all felonies. He was accused of using force to steal a Nissan Altima and a ring on Feb. 23 in Manchester.

Sergio Torres, 26, of Garden Drive in Manchester, charged with riot, aiding and abetting, second-degree assault, two counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, and three counts of attempted first-degree assault. He was accused of kicking and punching another person, biting a person in the back, running over a police officer, and speeding in downtown Manchester on March 14. Angela Tremblay, 39, of McGregor Street in Manchester, for possession of fentanyl with intent to sell and possession of crack cocaine, both felonies, on Jan. 18 in Manchester.

Richard Twombly, 46, of Brown Avenue in Manchester, charged with felony second-degree assault by strangulation. He was accused of strangling his partner on Feb. 11 in Manchester.

Merlin Umana, 49, of Plummer Street in Manchester, charged with witness tampering. He was charged with attempting to induce another person not to give evidence by attempting to persuade them to drop charges on May 10, 2023 in Manchester.

Jonas Vasquez, 32, of South Union Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, charged with repeat criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, attempted aggravated criminal sexual assault, and aggravated criminal sexual assault, all felonies. He was accused of raping, sexually assaulting, and fondling a child between August 1, 2020, and January 31, 2021, in Manchester.
