Kid Cudi releases new song ‘Dreams I See’ to accompany ‘Moon Man #3’

To accompany his comic book series “Moon Man #3” arriving tomorrow, Kid Cudi has debuted his new song “Dreams I See” along with a visualizer, premiering exclusively on Variety before its midnight release.

Cudi initially launched his “Moon Man” comic series in January alongside co-writer Kyle Higgins, artist Marco Locati, colorist Igor Monti, letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou and editor Michael Busuttil. The series was brought to life in partnership with Image Comics, Black Market Narrative and Mad Solar.

“Moon Man” tells the story of Ramon Townsend, who becomes something of a celebrity after saving his ship and crew on a near-disastrous lunar mission. Townsend intends to return to a normal, quiet life in Cleveland, though the threat of what happened on that mission casts a shadow over his ambitions. In the third installment of the series, Townsend begins to test the limits of his abilities, until the return of an old friend further complicates his life.

In addition to the release of the song and comic, Cudi has announced the launch of a limited-edition clothing line that includes four designs based on the artwork from the latest installment of the series. The clothing will be available on starting tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. ET.

“This might be one of the top three coolest things I’ve ever been a part of. This story is something that took a lot of love from everyone involved, and I’m so excited for the world to finally experience Moon Man,” Mescudi said ahead of the release of the “Moon Man” series. “I promise you this comic will be unlike anything you’ve ever read before. To each and every person who picks up a copy and shows their support in January: I love you more than you can imagine. Thank you!”
