How good are Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart and Tre Harris in College Football 25?

OXFORD — If you’re eager to lead Ole Miss football to virtual glory when EA Sports College Football 25 launches next week, you’ll have quality talent at your disposal to get you started.

The college football video game franchise, which is returning after a hiatus of more than a decade, revealed a list of the game’s top 100 players on Wednesday morning.

This version of the game will be the first to use names, images and likenesses of current college players. Athletes who gave EA permission to include them in the game received $600 and a free copy of the game.

Three Rebels cracked the initial top 100. Defensive lineman Walter Nolen, preparing for his first season at Ole Miss after transferring from Texas A&M, is the 27th-best player in the game. Quarterback Jaxson Dart is ranked No. 73, followed by wide receiver Tre Harris at No. 81.

The game assigns each player an overall rating between 0 and 99, with 99 ratings reserved for the best. Nolen received an overall rating of 93. Dart and Harris both earned ratings of 90.

The highest-rated player in the game is Michigan cornerback Will Johnson. Here is the complete top 10:
